Machado Twirls a Gem for Calgary
|
Calgary used a superb performance from starting pitcher Felipe Machado to down the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 7-1. The Lynx move to 14-15 with the win, while the Reserves drop to 15-14.
Machado scattered 1 hit over 8.2 innings for the Lynx. With the win, Machado goes to 1-3 on the year with 24 strikeouts.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Machado.
