Royse City used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ryan Bentley to down the Milton Dogfish Head, 6-1. Bentley, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. The Royse City Targaryens, now 13-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
Carl Duncan aided the Royse City cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter drove in one run.
"I like our mindset right now," said Royse City manager John Williams.
