Rails Lose, 3-2, at Sonics Ballpark
Sonics Ballpark was the site of a tense game between the Richland Rails and Atlantic City Sonics.

The Atlantic City Sonics got a stellar effort from pitcher Rob Smith, helped Atlantic City score a 3-2 win over the visiting Richland Rails. Atlantic City is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Gianpaolo Monachino was a key contributor to the win for the Sonics. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting first baseman stroked a home run to left. He went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Richland manager Paul Baker said following the tough loss.
