Fans who came to Virginia Beach Grounds watched the Virginia Beach Deuces and the Richland Rails fight to the finish.

Virginia Beach Deuces starter Mark Bell was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Richland Rails, 4-3. Virginia Beach reliever Lindsay Novak was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Carlos Barajas.

Luis Sáenz was the walk-off hero for Virginia Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Virginia Beach first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Sáenz said in his postgame press conference.

With the win, Virginia Beach goes to 51-41, while the Rails fall to 64-28.
