The Springfield Shooters topped the Billings Polar Bears by the score of 8-1, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Ty Struck. Struck belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Shooters. Springfield starter Roy Gartner was credited with the win after throwing 109 pitches over 6.2 innings. "We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Alfonso Rivera.
