Ottawa Bats Go Silent in 5-0 Loss
|
The Springfield Shooters went home winners at Nationals Park, thanks in large part to starter Ryan Peterson. Peterson silenced the Ottawa Nationals, enabling Springfield to grab the 5-0 win. The Nationals, at 24-41, have lost 4 in a row.
The Springfield dugout showed signs of unrest at times. But the Shooters put this one in the win column with some good pitching and some timely hitting at critical moments.
