The Lancaster Farmers grabbed a 12-4 win over the Richland Rails at Farmers Field. Lancaster catcher Rodrigo Velasco went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 to earn player of the game honors. Armand Hultman earned the win to go to 1-2. Brad Tillman drove in one run for Lancaster. In the bottom of the fifth, with the teams deadlocked, 4-4, Tillman delivered for the Farmers. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Lancaster on top, 5-4.
