Grasshoppers Suffer 8-4 Setback
|
Virginia Beach starter Jim Unknown pitched effectively against the San Bernardino Grasshoppers at Virginia Beach Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a 8-4 win. Unknown was the winning pitcher and moves to 1-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 6 walks. Virginia Beach bumps their record to 23-27 with the win.
