Farmers Get One-Run Win at Atlantic City
Sonics Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Lancaster Farmers and the Atlantic City Sonics.

Lancaster starter Paco Peña pitched effectively against the Atlantic City Sonics at Sonics Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 7-3 win. In 7.1 innings, Peña surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth. That's when António Jiménez drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Farmers went on to win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Peña, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
