Betancourt, Grasshoppers Beat Nationals, 8-3

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Enrico Betancourt, the San Bernardino Grasshoppers defeated the Ottawa Nationals, 8-3. Betancourt went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs for the Grasshoppers. Don Teehan, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 2-4. The Grasshoppers saw their record improve to 20-24.
