Patriots Shut Out Grey Wolves
|
The Boston Patriots got a strong performance from pitcher Lúcio Sánchez, who stymied the Vancouver offense en route to a 5-0 win at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston is now 43-31, Vancouver 42-32.
The Patriots got a big at-bat from Tamasaburo Kato. For the game, Kato went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Kato said.
