Battle Ground third baseman Daniel Métivier was sensational. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Westwood beat the Aeros, 8-7. Métivier was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Sixshooters improved to 24-16.

Richard Hicks had the most critical at-bat for Westwood, coming in the top of the ninth inning with two out and a runner on 1st. Hicks hit a full count fastball from Dan Drew for a 2-run home run. It put Westwood in front, 8-7.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Westwood manager William Franklin.
