José Urruticodez had a good game, even if his team, the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, did not. San Bernardino dropped a 9-8 decision to Glendale at Heron Field. Ralph Harvey, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Glendale, at 14-21, occupies 10th place in the Menard's AA.

Frank Grimes provided some late-game heroics for Glendale. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a run-scoring double. It came on a 2-1 fastball from Ricardo Roquette and propelled Glendale to a 9-8 lead.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Glendale Herons manager Cristo Martínez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
