Polar Bears Come Up Short at Westwood
Westwood Sixshooters starter Rafael Rivera was in fine form against the Billings Polar Bears at Sixshooters Stadium, leading his team to a 6-3 win. The winner was Westwood reliever Kevin Samuels, now 3-0. The loser was Isei Sugimoto. Alfonso Garza finished the game for Westwood and earned his 1st save.

Jason Boyer had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Sixshooters. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Westwood trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run.

"I was a little disappointed," said Billings manager Alfonso Rivera. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

Westwood has now won 3 in a row.
