Albert Díaz was the difference-maker for the Lancaster Farmers in what turned into a shootout with the San Bernardino Grasshoppers. Díaz earned the player of the game award after going 3-for-4 in the 16-9 Farmers win. Orlando Sánchez recorded his 1st save for Lancaster. The Farmers go to 13-13, putting them 6th in the Menard's AA.

The Farmers got a big at-bat from Rodrigo Velasco. For the game, Velasco was 3-5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave Lancaster a 6-3 lead.

"I felt good up there," said Velasco. "I saw the ball well."
