The Oakland Oaks defeated the Richardson City Thundercats, 3-2, in Premier League action at Oakland Coliseum, with Oakland pitcher José García named player of the game. Oakland goes to 39-32, Richardson City to 46-25.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 2-2, left fielder Todd Williams won it for Oakland. With a runner on 1st, Williams hit a 3-1 fastball from Javier Ramírez for a run-scoring triple, giving his team a 3-2 win.

After the game, Oakland manager DAshley GoAs applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
