Sixshooters Win at Lancaster, 5-4
|
The Lancaster Farmers and Westwood Sixshooters provided some drama at Farmers Field.
The Lancaster Farmers got a sterling performance from pitcher Steve Brown, but the Sixshooters still prevailed, 5-4. Brown was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball. Alfredo Hernández nailed down his 5th save.
In the top of the first inning, designated hitter Chia-ch'ing Dodman came through big-time for the Sixshooters. With Westwood leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
"It feels good to get that win," said Dodman. "Now it's on to the next one."
The Farmers fall to 9-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2025 season.
