Victory Over Rails Takes Ft. Polk South to 12-7
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks outlasted Jasper Otto and the Richland Rails, 11-10. Otto was impressive in the loss. The Richland second baseman went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jason Hoskins was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Ft. Polk South, now 12-7, has played well in the early going.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the eighth. That's when César Villarreal hit a run-scoring single. The Thunder Hawks went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Villarreal told the Ft. Polk South Observer.
