Northern Lions BC Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the Capital District Red Knights, 8-7, in 11 innings. Thunder Bay catcher Carlos Padilla merited player of the game honors with his performance. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Andrés Martínez got credit for the win, improving to 3-7. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.
