The D.C. Divided got a stellar effort from pitcher Tetsuzan Kaneko, helped D.C. score a 4-1 win over the visiting Vancouver Grey Wolves. D.C. reliever Gabriel Hidalgo was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Burt Booth. D.C., at 6-1, has sizzled in the early going.

D.C. won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when shortstop Wilfred McLaughlin hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Divided fans to their feet.

"I liked his command," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth. "Tetsuzan was throwing strikes."
