Chicago pitcher Anthony Hanover did his part in helping his team beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Shi-lin Li nailed down his 6th save. At 35-56, the Hawks are currently last in the Division III.
One important at-bat came with the bases empty in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Evan Adams hit a triple. The Hawks went on to win.
Adams said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
