Jiménez Silences Capital District Bats
|
Félix Jiménez never let the Capital District Red Knights find their groove. Throughout the game, Jiménez, who leads the 3L in strikeouts with 139, relied on his bread and butter, his fastball, in pitching the Nuggets to a win. Rocky Mountain now sits in 6th place in the Division III at 46-43.
Jiménez allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 7 innings for the Nuggets. He walked 3 and struck out 12.
