The Rocky Mountain Nuggets knocked off the Kingston Township Legion, 6-3. Rocky Mountain starter Alfonso Zapata pitched well enough to earn top player honors. At 45-39, the Nuggets are currently 5th in the Division III.

Flexing his muscles for Rocky Mountain was Andrés Rodríguez. The designated hitter had a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth for the Nuggets. It put his team ahead, 6-3, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Rodríguez went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I really like what we did out there today," Rodríguez said after the game.
