Red Knights Sink Aviators, 5-4

In a tight contest at Capital Grounds, the Capital District Red Knights edged the Seattle Aviators by the score of 5-4. The Capital District Red Knights' second baseman Bernardo Hernández, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Capital District reliever Ánibal Rivera picked up the win to move to 4-2. Myron Snow suffered the loss. Miguel Toro, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save.
In the bottom of the 7th, shortstop José Paz gave Capital District the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Red Knights had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out single off Seattle pitcher Myron Snow changed that -- and Capital District went on to win.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Capital District Red Knights manager Don Lookingbill. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
The Red Knights saw their win-loss record go to 33-48. At the same time, the Aviators fall to 49-32.
