Piranhas Win, Hope to Turn around Slow Start
|
Herman Hayes left his imprint on the 6-3 Panama City win against the Boston Patriots. Hayes went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. John Dempsey, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 5 innings. The Panama City Piranhas, now 2-5, have not found much traction so far in 2025.
Early in the game, Hayes had a 3-run home run for Panama City. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Piranhas on top, 4-1.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Hayes. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
