Great Day for Aston in Flamingos Win
Las Vegas beat Capital District at The Strip, escaping with a 8-2 win. The win in large part was due to catcher John Aston, who earned player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. With the win over Capital District, the Flamingos improved to 38-25.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Aston, who was drafted in the two round of the 2019 draft, hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Flamingos into the lead, 2-1.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Corey Hughes.
