Northern Lions BC Walk It Off for 32nd Win of Season
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and Las Vegas Flamingos put on quite a show at Great Northern Field.

The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 6-5, in 12 innings. Carlos Rodríguez led the way, going 2-for-2 for Thunder Bay. Thunder Bay has a 3-game win streak, while Las Vegas has lost 3 in a row.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 12th, Arnold Griffith had a chance to end it. Las Vegas pitcher Joey McCarthy had other ideas. But with one out, Griffith hit a walk-off run-scoring double. The Northern Lions BC had the walk-off win.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams. "It's usually not just one thing."
