The Las Vegas Flamingos went home winners at Louisville Park, thanks in large part to starter John Brown. Brown silenced the Louisville BC, enabling Las Vegas to grab the 4-1 win. Brown went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. His record improves to 2-3. Enrique García got credit for the save for Las Vegas. It was his 17th of the year.

The action was intense with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. With a runner on 1st and Louisville trailing 2-0, John Brown had to face the former first round draft pick Yuji Ine, who was hoping to turn the game around. It was not to be, as Ine hit into a double play.
