Leroy Moody pitched well, but the Capital District Red Knights still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Montana Pandas at Panda Park. John Keller got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The Pandas raised their record to 23-28.

Xianyang, China-born Tsing Guao came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Pandas trailing 3-1, he hit a 3-run home run to right to put Montana on top.

"We all want to win," said Guao. "We all want to do our part."
