The Las Vegas Flamingos and Brooklyn Dodgers obliged those fans who came to Ebbetts Field hoping for an exciting game.
The Las Vegas Flamingos bested the Brooklyn Dodgers, 8-4, at Ebbetts Field. Logan Manning was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Las Vegas reliever Seung-yeop Kim, now 3-4. The loser was John Bailey.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Sinclair van Kooten hit a 2-1 fastball from John Bailey for a 2-run single. It put Las Vegas in front, 6-4.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Manning told the Las Vegas Herald.
After today's action, Las Vegas sits at 30-20, while Brooklyn falls to 27-23.
