Kaufman, Dodgers Get 4-1 Win
|
Brooklyn and Philadelphia 1776 duked it out at Ben Franklin Memorial Coliseum and the Dodgers came out victorious.
Brooklyn Dodgers starter John Kaufman was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Philadelphia 1776 BC, 4-1. Earning his 9th save for Brooklyn was John Bailey.
Kaufman, who leaned on his curveball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 7.1 innings for the Dodgers. For the most part, Philadelphia 1776 hitters were simply overmatched.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Kaufman.
Brooklyn's record now stands at 26-22, placing them 4th in the Division III.
