Another game, another loss for the struggling Atlanta Smoke.

The D.C. Divided went home winners at Smoke Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter José Alaniz. Alaniz silenced the Atlanta Smoke, enabling D.C. to grab the 6-0 win. The second-place Divided now have a 4-game winning streak.

Also having an impact was center fielder Charles Mathes, who stroked a triple in the top of the first for D.C.. For the game, Mathes was 2-4 with 2 triples and a walk. He scored 2 runs.

"This losing is getting old," said Atlanta manager Scott McMahon.
