de Meza Lifts Targaryens to Win
|
Rodger de Meza pitched a gem to lead Royse City to a 10-1 victory over the Florida Men. Florida, at 2-10, has had a dismal start to the season.
de Meza, a native of Cole Bay, Sint Maarten, was dealing all game. He kept Florida hitters off-balance, while giving the Targaryens 9 quality innings. de Meza threw 111 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
"Rodger was throwing strikes, locating well," said Royse City manager John Williams.
