Fog Take Tight Tilt

The Sunset District Fog eeked out a 4-1 win versus the Jersey City Sun Caps at Jersey City Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Júlio Martínez, who captured player of the game honors. Jim Unknown earned the save for Sunset District, his 1st. The Sunset District Fog, now 6-1, have been on a roll in the early going.
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic-born Albert Sánchez came through in the clutch. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st and the Fog trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run to left-center to put Sunset District on top.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Sánchez told the Sunset District Today.
