Victory Over Drummers Takes Phoenix to 54-27
|
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves knocked off the Tortolita Drummers, 4-3, at Drummers Ballpark. Hiwahikeiki Noelani, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Phoenix won. The shortstop was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Phoenix has an impressive 54-27 record.
Also making an impact was center fielder Jesús González, who drilled a run-scoring single in the top of the third for Phoenix. For the game, González was 1-3 with a walk.
"I felt good up there," said Noelani. "I saw the ball well."
