Multi-HR Game for Jennings in 5-3 Win
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds knocked off the Alloway Halberds, 5-3, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Marty Jennings, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Ellenburg won. The shortstop went 2-2 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Bill Schneider nailed down his 10th save. With the win, the Fighting Dachsunds have a record of 32-40.

Ellenburg took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Ed Adams hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Fighting Dachsunds fans to their feet.

"I was a little disappointed," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
