The Boston Patriots bested the Panama City Piranhas, 5-3, at The Tank. Ramón Félix was named player of the game. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Lúcio Sánchez got the win, improving to 6-3. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Boston's record now stands at 33-24, placing them second in the Division I.
Félix's nice game included a clutch 3-run home run in the top of the first.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Félix said.
