Fighting Dachsunds Beat Doubledays, 4-1
|
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds got a stellar performance from pitcher Bob Baker, who handcuffed the Tremont offense en route to a 4-1 win at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Baker was the winning pitcher and moves to 2-7. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. The Fighting Dachsunds saw their record improve to 29-34.
Preston Hernández contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that propelled Ellenburg to the win.
