Tortolita Drummers starter Eduardo Bravo pitched a strong game against the Pure Michigan Great Lakers at Drummers Ballpark, leading the Drummers to a 5-4 win. Curt Pennington earned the save for Tortolita, his 4th of the year. Tortolita now has a 3-game win streak.
Jorge Féliz was a key contributor to the win for the Drummers. In the bottom of the sixth with one out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to center. He was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
In postgame comments to the Tortolita Today, Bravo said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
