Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Fighting Dachsunds
José Vázquez made an impact in the 11-8 Ellenburg win over Pure Michigan. Vázquez was 4-4 with a triple and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Ellenburg reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ezio Deodato shouldered the loss. With the win over Pure Michigan, the Fighting Dachsunds improved to 22-30.

Ellenburg won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when catcher Meka Knight hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Fighting Dachsunds fans to their feet.

After the game, Knight refused to speak to a reporter for the Ellenburg Today. "You've accused me of throwing teammates under the bus," he said. "So, excuse me if I decline to answer your questions."
