Ellenburg pitcher Severiano Duclos did his part in helping his team beat the Houston BC, 10-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Fighting Dachsunds saw their record improve to 19-25.

Meka Knight helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run double to give Ellenburg a 2-0 lead.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Knight said later.
