BC Jolt Fighting Dachsunds with Late Rally
The Houston BC faced a tough opponent in Ellenburg pitcher Ramiro Flores, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Houston Park by a final score of 6-5. Flores went 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Houston reliever Katsuyoshi Takuda picked up the win to move to 1-0. Bill Schneider suffered the loss. Houston's record now stands at 23-20, placing them 4th in the Silver AAA.

António Sánchez was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Houston first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.

Sánchez told the Houston Gazette: "This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents. Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
