McNeil Helps Braves Beat Great Lakers
|
The Gryfindor Braves beat the Pure Michigan Great Lakers, 8-5, at Cayuse Ballpark. The Braves got a fine performance from catcher Bob McNeil, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times. Gryfindor has now won 4 straight.
In the bottom of the fifth, Jesús Cisneros had a big run-scoring single off Fernando González. With the single, the Gryfindor center fielder put his team in front, 6-5. He was 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs in the contest.
