The Houston BC faced a tough opponent in Gryfindor pitcher Travis Carson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Cayuse Ballpark by a final score of 6-2. Carson went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Weston Fisher earned the save for Houston, his 6th of the year. Houston now sits at 17-14, while Gryfindor falls to 23-8.

Also contributing to the win was first baseman Alfredo Rivera, who stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first for Houston. For the game, Rivera went 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I felt good up there," said Rivera. "I saw the ball well."
