Kelly goes 3-for-4 as Fighting Dachsunds Squeeze Past Houston
|
Ellenburg left fielder Francis Kelly made his presence felt in the 9-5 Fighting Dachsunds triumph over the Houston BC. Kelly was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Jim Unknown closed the game out for Ellenburg, earning his 1st save. The BC fall to 8-11 and continue their lackluster start in 2025.
Also producing for Ellenburg was right fielder Preston Hernández, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Hernández went 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Hernández.
