Hotspur Reserves Walk It Off for 14th Win of Season
|
Phoenix Hotspur Reserves starter Alin Oanta was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Alloway Halberds, 4-2. Phoenix reliever Adam Garrison picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Denny Marshall shouldered the loss. The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, now 14-5, have been on fire in the early going.
Shohei Kiyomizu was the walk-off hero for Phoenix. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Phoenix center fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We did a lot of things right," said Kiyomizu.
