Getting a good performance from designated hitter Fernando Sánchez, the Gryfindor Braves defeated the Houston BC, 10-6. Sánchez was 3-5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Braves. Francis Cahill picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Shawn Williams was tagged with the loss. Gryfindor, now 9-3, is playing great baseball to start the year.
