Braves Turn Back Ellenburg, 6-1

It was a fun time at Cayuse Ballpark, where the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds and Gryfindor Braves tangled.
The Gryfindor Braves topped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 6-1, in USSL Triple A action at Cayuse Ballpark. The player of the game was Gryfindor pitcher and Austin, Texas native George Armstrong. Armstrong, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Wu Le was at the plate when Gryfindor scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Braves to go in front, 2-1.
"I really like what we did out there today," Le said after the game.
With the loss, Ellenburg sinks to 5-2.
