The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds beat the Augusta Timber Hawks, 13-2, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Ellenburg designated hitter Pedro Pérez earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 4-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 5.
