Braves Sink Halberds, 6-5

Benefiting from Steve Duncan's productive game, the Gryfindor Braves downed the Alloway Halberds, 6-5. Duncan was 2-4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Braves. Jim Unknown, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. With the loss, Alloway drops to 0-2.
Duncan contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Gryfindor in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Duncan took a sinker from Carlos Hernández and stroked the triple to center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Braves to leap in front, 2-1.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Duncan said.
